Just Three Of The Teams That Want Him!
Where will LeBron James sign in free agency - Dallas, Miami, New Jersey or somewhere else? Every team wants him and would love to have him. But does LeBron James bring a title to any of the teams that are in contention for his services next year? Maybe, maybe not. How much are you willing to bet on LeBron James? Some teams have stayed true to their core beliefs and some teams have sold out completely with the hope of landing the most prized free agent in recent history. Cleveland had LeBron. Cleveland did not win the NBA championship this year. That honor went to the best TEAM - the Los Angeles Lakers!
As good as LeBron James is - he alone will never bring a championship to any team. Championships are won and lost with teamwork or the lack of it. But some teams like the Dallas Mavericks, the Miami Heat and the New Jersey Nets (represented above) are still stocked with enough talent to play for a championship next year even if they do not keep their own free agents from leaving. Without the premier players on each of those three teams staying, why would LeBron James even consider them? Because all three were in contention last year and LeBron James is better than any of the other three stars about to leave those teams. If you take the Dallas Mavericks for instance, without Dirk Nowitski but with LeBron James - many people feel they could have won the NBA championship last year. Many say the same thing about the Miami Heat if you were to replace Dwayne Wade with LeBron James. The same is true for Carlos Boozer and the New Jersey Nets. They only need LeBron to compete for a title. The Cleveland Cavaliers have already proven that. The others are just extra pieces to compliment LeBron if they are lucky enough to resign them.
It is our belief that LeBron James will bring a championship to the team he signs with his very first year! Where ever he goes, that team will be holding the trophy next year. LeBron just makes everyone around him much better. We also believe LeBron will not sign with a team unless he is sure they have a legitimate chance to win it all next year. Life is too short to not win the big one when you get the chance. This is LeBron's chance. He can dictate the outcome of the NBA finals starting July 1st just by signing with a team that already has a good chance to compete without his services, with or without their own free agents. So don't expect LeBron to go for the money - he will go for the title. And we too will know which team the title will be going to ourselves as early as the end of July. The SportsNut Team
